Heavy FullSet: Stepped Tonneau Quartz-Pioneer Beta21

IWC TwoTone Beta21 "International", FullSet, Rare & Important

WHY WE LOVE IT? A heavy solid-gold Beta21 by one of the most active-participants in Centre Electronique Horology C.E.H.: IWC. Presented in amazing condition and as a full set, serviced by IWC in 2010 and with some characteristic patina.

A beautiful aged and technically perfect first Swiss quartzwatch ex Schaffhausen, Switzerland. The "International", as this IWC-model was named, came in a classic stepped tonneau-case with a high quality twotone-gold dial with applied hour-indexes. As usual with Beta21, the seconds-hand slides around the dial in 256 steps per second and thus depicts a steady flow of time instead of counting steps.

We matched the presumably unpolished case (see the deep and crisp shape and edges plus the clear hallmark next to the crown & the clear serial-number on the case-back) with a contrasting dark-blue ostrich-strap -- ultra-thin to increase the wrist-presence of this over-sized watch even more.
