WHY WE LOVE IT: It is sooo early '80s: bicolor, airport, integrated bracelet, thin and quartz. Longines finest.

Serviced by Longines in 2023 and not worn after.

This was Longines top-model in the early 1980s: Longines Airport. Thin quartz, 18K solid gold integrated bracelet and Clous-de-Paris all over. The case & bracelet was manufactured by Eric Marcel Grandjean (EMG mark), Geneva and it is fair to say this was Longines' flagship -- in a line with other thin integrated bracelet quartz-watches, like Piaget Polo, Vacheron Harmony, Patek Nautillipse and Omega Manhattan.

According to the Archives of Longines this watch was sold 1984 November, 26th to Saudi Arabia, and celebrated its 40th Anniversary not long ago.
