WHY WE LOVE IT? Because there was probably never another technical approach to timekeeping so far ahead of its time and the technological possibilities: kybernetik.

Beautiful preserved and in working condition -- however, the accuracy is not exactly quartz-standard as it runs approx 10mins fast per day. But that is a common issue with these Longines Ultra-Quartz and reason is the super-complexity of the movement: A "tuningfork" that is running at a rate of 170Hz and a quartz vibrating at a rate of 9'350Hz -- the latter controlling the former.

And all this is achieved by using discrete elements, only and not a integrated circuit (IC) -- a truly avant-garde watch, a kyberntik watch.
