Rare & Special: UltraThin Dress Credor GoldFeather
Seiko GoldFeather UTD-Calatrava / -Altiplano: Monocoque & Organic Dial Credor

- Time (Hour, Minute)
WHY WE LOVE IT? Because this is the refined successor of the first ultrathin Seiko-Monocoque ref68-6000 and probably one of the most beautiful cases ever made from gold: Credor / Crest of Gold. And... could it be, that this watch was not only an inspiration for Patek, but even the technical blueprint for the most important Patek Ellipse, the ref3738?? Ooh!
The ultrathin cal6810 -- based on the cal68 and nowadays still in use in the Credor GoldFeather in a refined version -- in one of the finest cases ever made from gold: heavy monocoque, classic understatement and perfect in every aspect. Made in just a few pieces in 1973 & 1974 -- we assume less than 100 were produced -- and that is exactly what 1974 became the Seiko sub-brand Credor: crête de or, crest of gold; this case was the namesake.
The golden dial with the naturalistic pattern is in very good condition and not only a joy to watch but also unobtrusively signed Seiko.
