EmailWHY WE LOVE IT: Bicolour is the classic -- so obviously '80s -- and this specific model was worn back then and today by Mr Yves "Polo" Piaget with enthusiasm. So, there is probably no Polo more Polo than this Polo.
Piaget Polo -- the worlds most expensive watch, as Piaget advertised it from 1979 onwards. Here the 1981-made top-model: whitegold with yellowgold accents and Onyx stone-dial. Exactly the configuration that Mr Yves Piaget was wearing back then and stills wears today -- see last photos. His model is the 1982-variant with a slightly different dial (Onyx with gold-bars instead of matte anodized and a different QUARTZ-print).
Priced CHF23'150 in the 1982-Piaget-catalogue -- so more than 40y ago. Interestingly it shows the early font of QUARTZ printed that was used until 1981 on the first Polos.
The condition is very good and most important with a braceletwatch, like the Piaget Polo: Very good condition bracelet with all-matching numbers and without stretch or defects.
