Early Piaget Automatic Altiplano / Calatrava, Amagnetic Bidynator

Piaget Altiplano, Early Automatic Calatrava: Bidynator

Sold

Piaget in the late 1950s -- the first automatic movement used by Piaget in their classic Calatrava-like watches: The cal1560 Bidynator -- by the way the first bidirectional working automatic-rotor movement. Very clean and almost untouched, it works even today just fine after our service.

The case shows some signs of wear but appears to be horological relevant and unpolished. The dial is original and not refurbished with the original lume dots. The hands were relumed in the last six or seven decades.
