Sand Finished Seamaster Prototype

Omega Surface Finishing Prototype Seamaster

Sold

A beautiful sand-finished Omega dial on top of a Omega caliber 1002, dated to 1971 inside a yellowgold (18K tested) probably unique and probably for prototyping made case with integrated bracelet and exactly the same finishing. The early 1970s were the time, when Rolex and other manufacturers experimented with the bark finishing and Piaget hand-hammered their watches to make it a more naturalistic and faceted design. And so this unique watch was probably one of Omegas tests with special surface-finishings.

The case and bracelet has no visible / readable marks and was for sure not a production run. However, it is made in good quality and the bracelet with hidden interlinks is as well in high quality and weight and without stretch or problems.
