Omega 1964 Doublesigned: Bahrain / Saudi Seamaster in Rose Pink Gold

WHAT YOU SHOULD KNOW: This timepiece is in good to very good condition, just the dial has some spots, probably from humidity. However, the case and movement is in perfect working condition, just there are spots all over the dial and especially between 11 and 12 o'clock.

This is a very rare and unusual Omega Seamaster that ticks many, if not all relevant boxes: according to our research it was done in 30 pieces and is thus a naturally rare occurrence. It has an early automatic caliber making it move -- the iconic Omega cal 562 with sweep central second and date window at 3 o'clock; it is made of 18 karat rose / pink gold, what makes it a rare appearance already, since most pieces of this reference were done in steel and just a few in solid yellow gold -- and rose gold really rarely comes to surface; it has three diamonds set to the champagne sunburst dial for full effect and making it even more special; but that is not all; the indexes are made of rose gold as well and have a onyx stone inlay that is fully intact; same for the minute and hour hands: onyx inlays too, just on the minute hands these are not 100% intact; and on top of all that, the dial shows Sheikh Al-Khalifa of Bahrain, as this watch was made in 1964 for the Sheikh and delivered to the gulf state. Wow!

By the way, there is different information available regarding this timepiece with some sources, inclusive some standard books about Omega (Journey ...), stating the King Ibn Saud of Saudi Arabia is depicted near 12 o'clock. Now, we cannot say for sure, but all our sources and the excerpt of Omega archive, that mentions a delivery to Bahrain, point to the Sheikh of Bahrain and not Ibn Saud.

There is an identical timepiece in Biel Omega Museum (case 90), demonstrating the importance of this elevated and rare Omega Seamaster.

We decided to put a black shark skin strap between the case and Omega buckle, repeating the onyx inlays and giving it a very classy but strong attitude -- and ready to wear. Coming with Omega Archive Paper.
