Wonderful: The Secret of Gerald Genta in a 1960s and 1970s Ladies Piaget -- "Round and Angled" (RaA). Feminine & Masculine. Ying & Yang. Black & White. Good & Bad. This feminine ladies classic is using exactly these elements that made the majority of Gentas designs a blockbuster and timeless icons: octagonal (basically a squared circle) and round (ellipsoid). Beautiful and made in 1973 but timeless: 50th Anniversary in 2023.
The dial is made of Mother of Pearl and the bezel is set alternating with onyx stone and MoP as well. While others like two-tone this jewel goes further: we love two-stone. The watch was made almost 50 years ago by Piaget and is in very good condition with a freshly serviced 9P movement: The stones are without defects or dents as is the crystal and the bracelet -- superb. Overall the case shows just minimal signs of wear and time -- after 5 decades. #SoooPiaget
