Vacheron: World Time in Yellow Gold on your Wrist, Full Set

A very rare timepiece of the limited World Time, Phidias series from Vacheron. It comes in massive 18K yellow gold and with two factory set diamonds at position 12 and 6 on the dial.

The very rare and interesting complication of a world time bezel and a counter-clockwise moving ring below the bezel shows you the relevant time for major cities in different parts of the world and a 24-hour indication. The timepiece is powered by the relevant VC caliber 1180, which was completely overhauled by VC right now. The characteristics of the 1180 are: rhodium-plated, fausses cotes decoration, 25 jewels, straight-line lever escapement, monometallic balance adjusted for heat, cold, isochronism and 5 positions, shock absorber, self-compensating flat balance spring, micrometer regulator.

The Phidias series was stopped in 1996 and is no longer produced and esp. this rare model from the limited Phidias World Time series with world time complication is highly collectible.

It will be delivered with the box and VC GMT manual as well as VC service pouch and service statement. It was serviced by Vacheron just days ago and thus has a full standing guarantee by Vacheron until December 2020. While a full service was done by VC, the watch was explicitly not polished during servicing: so it still shows some (very minor) signs of wear but is still in original shape and has sharp edges and no material was lost.
