Very rare Art Deco-VC, made in 1924. The case (width: 24mm, height: 24, lug-to-lug: 30mm) was made by Verger Freres for Vacheron from Osmior (whitegold wasnt used back then), an Osmium-, Gold- and Platinum-Alloy that is not only heavier than whitegold but also harder and more white and shiny. The case was probably polished in the last 80 years but the case number on case-back and the Vacheron & Constantin stamping are clearly visible. The dial is probably original and not refurbished and the optical effect in the four corners of the dial is generated by the original and bowed crystal.
The movement is fine and working precise and the included paper from VC Archive confirms the production date, case and movement. Amazing and important.
