Rare Nautillipse: Patek Nautilus X Ellipse

Patek Philippe Nautilus Ellipse, TwoTone Nautillipse, Rare

WHY WE LOVE IT: I have written several articles about it over the years and the love just gets stronger -- there are not many other Pateks as characteristic as this one. And indeed, just two hands, no complications but an iconic and unmistakable design -- designed by Gerald Genta in 1981.

The Nautillipse, Pateks Finest in the Early 1980s: Steel/Gold-Bicolor, when Quartz was the Best and Thin a Plus. With just 300pcs made it is much rarer than the other Patek designed by Genta, the ref3700 Jumbo Nautilus and imo more wearable -- needless to say that it is for sure more precise and hassle-free than the automatic-powered ref3700, that Patek presented 4y before this beauty.

Of course with the original unmistakable bracelet and not with a ref3800-Nautilus-aftermarket one, that is visible on so many of these -- just check our blog.
