White Gold Diamond Set 1971 Ladies Movado, Bahrain

This very good condition ladies watch is becoming 50 years old in 2021 and it was given as a present by Isa bin Salman Al Khalifa the Ruler of Bahrain in 1971 -- the year of Bahrains independence from UK. The unity of case and bracelet, the optical appearance of the hand-hammered bracelet surface and the diamonds surrounding the dial -- so beautiful, so feminine and so reflective.

The brick bracelet wears fantastic and is without warp or defects and its hand-hammered surface is a phenomenal appearance -- currently it fits a 172mm wrist.

The two row-set diamond bezel is sparkling as it should and the brushed silver dial with applied Movado logo and twelve applied hours indexes is just beautiful.
