The predecessor of the cal0100 Citizen and the first HAQ (High Accuracy Quartz, 5s per year maximum deviation) with a perpetual calendar. Something that only one of three Citizen Meisters could assemble: "Only three craftsmen certified as The CITIZEN Meisters are able to assemble these unprecedented high-precision watches. The CITIZEN Meister title is given exclusively to those qualified as watch repair technicians, and refers to veteran watchmakers with exceptional knowledge and skills. Each Meister is responsible for a single movement. Skilled hands meticulously assemble up to 65 individual units and precision components, a task that cannot be accomplished by machines or automation."
And the clean design and the readable dial is something special: of course the multi-faceted hours-indexes are applied, but not only: even the small 48 minute indexes are applied to the sunburst dial. And yes, it is a joy to observe the seconds-hand to hit every index precisely.
