Audemars Piguet Late 19th Century Rose Gold Pocket Watch, Audemars Freres Savonette

Sold

Savonette made in solid 14K rose gold by Audemars Freres in the late 19th century (1890). All three lids are made of solid gold and share the same number 1'6XX'XXX. The movement is signed Audemars Freres - Brassus & Geneve and as well numbered the same serial number 1'6XX'XXX as the case.

The movement is in almost perfect condition and the watch case is very well preserved as well and all lids close fine. The crown seems to be not original but all else is.

The dial is engine turned in its center, has a small second at 6 o'clock and enameled black arabic numbers. The blued hands make a beautiful contrast to the gold colored beautiful chiseled dial and are the finish of this fantastical preserved historical pocket watch.
