1st Japanese Electronic Watch: Citizen X8

In the 1960s Citizen was a strong aspirant for the crown of Japanese watchmaking and the other had been Seiko -- a competition that was decided in the early 70s and until today it is answered in favor of the latter. But the first electronic Japanese watch was the Citizen X8 powered by the cal0801 and presented in 1966.
