Gerald Genta: He designed the Audemars Piguet Royal Oak in 1972 and approx 6 years later the Patek Philippe Nautilus -- in between some others -- and more than 10 years later he came out with the all hand-made solid gold combination of both of his blockbuster designs "Royal Oak X Nautilus" under his very-own brand Gerald Genta.

The lavish Mother-of-Pearl dial is decorated with a lapis-lazuli moon-phase (12 o'clock), a day-date (3 & 9 o'clock) and 2nd time-zone (6 o'clock). The case is a clear homage to its two most iconic designs: octagonal shaped like the Royal Oaktagonal and not just two Nautilus ears but six.
