Golay Fils & Stahl: Great Condition Ladies Bracelet Watch

Universal Geneve Golay Fils & Stahl: 40s Rose Gold Ladies Bracelet Watch with Concealed Dial

Rich history, strong wrist presence and astonishing condition: this solid 18K rose gold bracelet watch with concealed dial was made in 1945 by EWenger (bracelet), Universal Geneve (movement, cal216), Uli Rotach (casemaker) for Golay, Fils & Stahl. A 1940s icon that was obviously in the vault for most of its life.

The dial shows four applied arrow indexes and eight applied dot indexes under a domed, flawless condition glass. The clasp and the cover close sound and secure without significant signs of use at all. All links are beautiful arranged, without warp or stretch and the bracelet seems to be un-polished as all hallmarks are clear and deep and the edges are sharp and crisp. The bracelet currently fits a 177mm wrist.

This is such a rare find for a sophisticated wrist: A fantastic preserved bracelet watch from a historical relevant family owned Geneva based jeweller GFS -- Golay Fils & Stahl: back then amongst others an relevant authorized Patek dealer, important gemstone dealer and jeweler for Kings and nobleness and a family business still active today.
