Very Unusual JLC: Chrono in Tantalium Case with Meteorite Dial and Meca-Quartz Movement

Jaeger LeCoultre Limited Edt Odysseus: Tantalum & Meteorite Dial, MecaQuartz

Sold

Wow! Tantalium case JLC Odysseus with unique meteorite dial in a limited edition.

Tantalum / Tantalium is a very rare chemical element with approx the same density of 18K gold but much harder -- comparable to tungsten. This material is used for the case and the dial is made of something even more special: a slice of meteorite stone. This makes every piece in this limited series unique.

The movement is special, too: JLC 631 is the complicated meca-quartz development by Jaeger, consisting of approx 230 parts, that combines the advantages of a precise and easy to maintain quartz movement with the crisp handling and function of a mechanical chrono -- best of both worlds.

The watch is in very good condition and shows only minimal signs of careful wear, here and there. We decided to connect a new deep-sea blue strap to the case but we are glad to deliver the worn original sand-colored JLC strap as well.
