Important Beyer X EternaMatic: Golden Golfer
Eterna Matic Golfer: Beyer-DoubleSigned Automatic for the Pocket, Centenaire

- Time (Hour, Minute, Central Second)

WHY WE LOVE IT? EternaMatic is something special: the first ball-bearing rotor-automatic (since 1948) proudly presented in a see-through caseback. And as a pocketwatch for the sportsman (Golfer) it is even more special.
Yes, we prefer the rarest configuration of this horological important watch: the solid 18K-yellowgold Florentine-finished top-version with golden sunburst-dial -- a joy, optical & haptical. The spicy topping: sold & proudly doublesigned by Beyer, Zurich in 1966 and made for the 100th Anniversary of Eterna (Centenaire). The watch is made of solid 18K-yellowgold and we can guarantee authenticity of every part of the watch -- it is probably unpolished and the dial is also original and not reprinted.
This exceptional example was made in 1966 according to our books and notes (serialnumber 5.4mio) -- see the advertisement back then: USD75 for the steel example and USD350 for the solid gold icon. It seems to be unpolished, it was serviced and is running precise & reliable. The special date-quickset of the Eterna cal1481K works reliable and prompt. Notabene: there is a dent in the case at 5 o'clock and the hinge shows some scratches -- pressumably from a metal-chain.
The Patek Golfers are known and loved and one has to admit: the Eterna Golfers are even more special. Indeed, in a similar high-quality case with superb finishing and being an automatic with a look-through window -- because the EternaMatic-automatic was something innovative & horological important.
