Raised Roman Indexes: Accutron, Electronic in Gold

Bulova Accutron: Electronic Pioneer & Classic, Rare 18K

WHY WE LOVE IT? We are strong advocates for the early electronics -- the bridge between mechanics & quartz -- and this is a extraordinary example in solid 18K.

Made in 1965 (M5) and in heavy (18K) immaculate condition -- unpolished and with its original strap (Accutron) and original Bulova 18K-buckle. Yes, Accutrons in 18K are remarkably rare: most were made in steel or goldplated cases and just some in 14K gold (US-market) and much fewer in 18K solid gold. And even more important: a lot of these were smelted in the last 60+ years, making them rare and endangered artefacts & horological milestones, that are even more sough-after.
