Impressive Diamond Bezel Emperador

Piaget Massive Emperador, Original Diamond Set Dial and Bezel

This is something special and doesnt come around every day for sure. Well, this is how Piaget made watches in their heydays of the 70s, 80s and early 90s: watches all on their own.

The housed cal 12P1 is a legend -- was THE thinest automatic movement in the 60s and is powered by a 24K gold microrotor and is still produced today.

The watch is in almost perfect condition and was recently serviced from Piaget and will come with a full standing two year guarantee from Piaget -- altough it was explicitly NOT polished, just cleaned. The service box and papers are included as well, of course.

Diamonds might be a girls best friend or not, maybe. But for sure stones rock and this timepiece is set with 36 relevant brilliant cut high grade diamonds.

Well, and this had its price back then: USD 65'000 exclusive taxes almost 30 years ago. And that translates to approx USD 150'000 to 200'000 in todays US-Dollars.
