A super-rare and important watch by the renowned Lucerne, Switzerland based jeweler Gubelin made in the 1950s (probably 1954 for the 100th Gubelin, Lucerne Anniversary) in probably single-digit quantities: A cioccolatone-shaped watch in 18K whitegold with an eye-catching 8 diamonds and 4 significant baguette-cuts arranged on the patinaed dial under the impressive domed original crystal. The key of this piece is not only the significant wrist-presence and its weight but also the back-then very important Felsa-based Ipso-Matic automatic movement and its iconic lugs -- extroverted.

The condition of this watch is excellent: approximately 70 years old and probably unpolished, as deep and untouched hallmarks document: the Lady of Geneva on the case flank below the crown and above the crown the 750 indicating the whitegold alloy. The movement was cleaned and serviced by us and the dial is in un-restored but all-original condition, too.

A very well preserved almost 70 years old gem and the strap we deliver is custom made and underlines the significant size & design of the case.
